SWING MUSIC TRIO

 

This by JP Derouard in 2008 founded TRIO has developed a unique style due to the expressivity of their three musicians.

JEAN- PIERRE DEROUARD : trumpet, vocals, drums
ARNAUD LABASTIE : piano
DAVID SALESSE : upright bass

The Trio is attended by the virtuous trumpetplayer FRANCOIS BIENSAN and a singer can be added.

The Repertoire is based upon the known and less known themes played by Louis Armstrong, original arrangements rejuvenated and some original compositions.

Unmistakably is the influence and inspiration by the great Trios like RAY BROWN, MONTY ALEXANDER, PHILIPPE DUCHEMIN, JEFF HAMILTON.
